Getting started

Agent quickstart

Coding agents can wire ORBIX in on their own. Point them at llms.txt and give them a key.

Give your agent the brief

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or any agent that can read URLs:

text
Add ORBIX to my app: useorbix.app/llms.txt

llms.txt is a plain-text brief written for models. It covers the base URL, authentication, model ids, streaming, billing headers and error codes, so the agent doesn't have to guess from marketing pages.

What the agent should do

  1. Read useorbix.app/llms.txt.
  2. Find where your app creates its OpenAI or Anthropic client.
  3. Change the base URL to https://api.useorbix.app/v1 (OpenAI) or https://api.useorbix.app (Anthropic).
  4. Read the key from ORBIX_API_KEY.
  5. Map any hard-coded model names to ORBIX ids, for example claude-sonnet-5.5 → anthropic/claude-sonnet-5.5.
Keep keys out of prompts

Give the agent the environment variable name, not the key itself. Keys pasted into a chat end up in logs.

Model ids

ORBIX ids are provider/model. The full list is on the market and at GET /v1/models.
