FAQ
Short answers to the questions we get most. The How ORBIX works page has the full picture.
- 1.2% of every $ORBIX buy and sell goes to the ORBIX treasury, and all of it funds the next day's subsidy pool, which pays part of your inference bill. Nobody's keys or subscriptions are resold: we buy inference at list price through official provider APIs and the pool covers the difference.
- The pool is capped at what the treasury earned the previous day. While the pool is healthy, you get your tier's full cap. As it drains, the discount scales down, and when it runs out prices return to list until the 00:00 UTC reset. The live figure is always on the market page.
- No. Anyone can top up and call every model at list price. Holding $ORBIX unlocks discount tiers: 0.05% of supply for up to 10%, 0.1% for up to 30%, 0.5% for up to 60% plus priority, 1% for up to 80% plus a free daily allowance.
- OpenAI-compatible
/v1/chat/completionsand Anthropic-compatible/v1/messages, both with streaming. Most SDKs, Cursor, Claude Code and agent frameworks work by changing the base URL. - Send ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain to the ORBIX treasury address from the wallet you signed in with. The transfer is credited to your account once it confirms. No smart contract, no approvals.
- Each wallet gets one discounted key, each key has a daily subsidy limit and a rate limit. Discounts apply to usage, not to balances, so there is nothing to arbitrage at scale.
- We log token counts, model, latency and cost for billing. Prompt and completion bodies are passed through to the upstream provider and are not stored by ORBIX.
- The pool shrinks with it, so the discount gets smaller. That is the trade-off of a fee-funded subsidy, and why the discount is dynamic rather than promised.
