Limits and fair use
The pool is shared. These limits keep it from being drained by one account or resold.
Limits
| Limit | Default | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Discounted keys per wallet | 1 | Stops splitting one holding across many keys |
| Rate limit per key | 60 requests / minute | Protects upstream capacity |
| Daily subsidy per wallet | scales with tier | Spreads the pool across holders |
| Daily subsidy per key | same as wallet | Caps exposure if a key leaks |
Core and Singularity tiers get higher rate limits.
When you hit a limit
- Rate limit:
429 rate_limitedwith aretry-afterheader. - Daily subsidy cap: requests continue at list price for the rest of the day. Nothing is blocked.
Not allowed
- Reselling discounted access, directly or through a wrapper API.
- Splitting holdings across wallets to multiply discounted keys.
- Anything the upstream provider's usage policy forbids. Their terms apply to requests routed to them.
Accounts that break these rules lose their discount, and keys can be revoked.
